Renewing the Natangura thatch roof

The Natangura thatch is used on all our roofs and need to be replaced every 10 to 15 years.

They are woven from palm leaves, dried and then fixed to the roof in an overlapping pattern staring from the base of the roof.

Depending on the size it takes about a day to replace the roof of a bungalow.
